PRONK! starts by asking what is alive inside a subject: the tension, contradiction, character, image, sound or moment that makes an audience lean in.
That means the production does not begin with a list of technical treatments. It begins with curiosity. Research, structure, recording, music and sound design are then built around the story that has been uncovered.
Accessibility without flattening.
Complex material should be inviting without being simplified until it loses its meaning. Serious subjects do not have to sound solemn, and intelligent work does not have to feel like homework.
Sound should reveal something.
A breath, a pause, a room, a rhythm, a piece of music or an unexpected silence can carry meaning that explanation alone cannot. The point is not to make the audio feel decorated. The point is to make the listener hear the subject differently.
Follow the story.
The best productions are rarely found by following the most obvious route. The job is to stay rigorous enough to know the material and playful enough to notice what everyone else has missed.
