We still can’t quite believe it’s real.

When the BBC Radio 4 Illuminated team asked us to pitch an episode, we knew we wanted to explore a world that was under our feet, inside our bodies, and largely overlooked: worms. To have that idea not only taken seriously, but commissioned, supported, and broadcast to a national audience? It’s been the creative thrill of a lifetime.

You’ve Got Worms is a love letter to the unseen. Earthworms, nematodes, and parasites become our unlikely narrators for stories about ecology, biology, farming, regeneration, and the resilience of life. Working with an extraordinary team — from sound designers and voice actors to researchers, parasitologists, and farmers — we’ve woven together a documentary that’s strange, intimate, and hopefully unforgettable.

BBC Radio 4 gave us the time, trust, and platform to dive deep and get weird — to explore a subject that matters and make it sing.

We’re proud, grateful, and a little giddy. Tune in on June 8th 2025 — and prepare to feel differently about the world beneath your feet.
