This season, titled “On The Road”, follows the SDCELAR team from the British Museum on a fieldwork journey through the US/Mexico borderlands. It’s a five-part audio expedition into community, heritage, and what it means to listen while moving through space.
Expect motels, museums, backroads, airports—and deep, generative conversations about archives, migration, resistance, and joy. The episodes blend location sound with in-the-moment reflections, creating a rich audio-geography of the borderlands.

We provided on-location audio production, remote contributor coordination, and full post-production for this season. By mixing environmental sound with narrative clarity, we helped translate a moving field trip into an immersive listening experience—without losing any of its texture or urgency.
