In Episode 2—“The Ways of Art”—our journey continues into vibrant communities on both sides of the US/Mexico border. We join artists, curators, and cultural workers in border towns, exploring how creativity responds to migration, identity, and social change.
Through mural walks, studio sessions, and gallery visits, we uncover how art becomes a form of storytelling, resistance, and community mapping. These creative practices challenge borders, build bridges, and make visible histories often marginalized in official narratives.
🎧 Our Role
We captured the authenticity of each space with on-location field recording—from spray cans to voices in studios—while coordinating remote interviews and expertly blending background sounds to create narrative flow. In post-production, we shaped these elements into a compelling audio portrait, letting art and place speak through intimacy and clarity.
✨ Why It Matters
“The Ways of Art” exemplifies this season’s quest to listen in motion. Art becomes a lens to understand migration’s impact, cultural hybridity, and how communities assert belonging. The episode makes clear that art isn’t just decoration—it’s geography, memory, and resistance in action.
