The final episode of Made In Latin America is here: New Codices, New Messages.
This episode looks forward—asking what it means to create codices today. We meet contemporary artists and activists who are reclaiming the format of the codex to tell urgent, modern stories. Through drawing, printing, performance and digital media, new messages emerge—connecting histories of resistance with today’s global struggles.
Produced as part of a seven-part series in collaboration with SDCelar at the British Museum, this episode brings the season full circle. From ancient manuscripts to contemporary remakings, it reflects on how knowledge is recorded, who gets to speak, and how the past lives on in the present.
It’s a celebration of continuity, creativity, and voice.
