*A quick note on safety*
We can safely help with everyday home technology, setup, and troubleshooting. We don’t carry out electrical work on mains wiring. If anything needs an electrician, we’ll tell you.

He’s an experienced sound engineer and AV specialist, and has produced audio for organisations including the BBC, The British Museum and Imperial College. He’s friendly, patient, and used to explaining technical things in plain English. He’s also a family man and a lover of art.

It’s a quick call to understand the problem, what equipment you’re using, and what you want the outcome to be. We’ll recommend the best next step (remote session, in-home visit, or a different route if it needs specialist repair).
It’s strongly recommended because it prevents you booking the wrong appointment type. If you already know exactly what you need, you can book directly — but the consult usually saves time and money.
Most setup and troubleshooting issues: Wi-Fi basics, TV/soundbar setups, streaming problems, laptops/desktops, printers, smart speakers, backups, Zoom/Teams setups, and general home tech confusion. If you can show the issue on video and access the device settings, remote works brilliantly.
Anything that needs hands-on access (cabling behind a TV, moving routers, hardware swaps), physical damage, or faults that require specialist repair. The free consult helps identify this upfront.
We troubleshoot live with you, fix what we can, and improve the setup where possible. If the issue needs parts or an in-home visit, you’ll leave with clear next steps and purchase recommendations (if needed).
We diagnose the issue, optimise your setup, tidy connections where needed, and aim to get everything working smoothly together. If parts or follow-up work are required, we’ll explain exactly what’s needed and why.
No — sessions are billed for time and expertise rather than guaranteed resolution. That said, you’ll always leave with a clearer setup, a diagnosis, and a practical plan of action.
Refunds aren’t provided just because an issue can’t be resolved within the session time. If it becomes clear early on that the session isn’t suitable (for example, it needs specialist repair), we’ll stop and talk you through the best next step.
You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your booking. Late cancellations or missed appointments are normally charged because the time is reserved for you.
Yes — be near the device(s), have passwords/login details available, and ideally join the call from a phone so you can move the camera around. If you have error messages, screenshots help too.
Primarily local to East London (and nearby areas), with availability depending on the week. The free consult is the quickest way to confirm whether we can come to you.
Yes — if replacement gear is the right answer, we’ll recommend options at different budgets and tell you what matters (and what doesn’t). We keep it practical and compatible with what you already have.
